Assessments & Therapy

We offer assessments and therapy for children with speech, language and communication disorders/delays. This includes specialist assessment and intervention for children with dyslexia and autism.

About us

Marisa founded Speech Boom: Assessment and Therapy out of a desire to create a space where children with Speech, Language and Communication (SLC) needs could come with their families to receive expert help and support. And where a team of specialists could flourish with all the necessary resources, believing in the strength of a team compared to an individual.

We believe the quality of your relationships is the quality of your life

Strong relationships are built on the foundation of communication, encompassing both verbal and non-verbal language skills.

We recognise that a child's speech and language abilities are crucial to fostering meaningful friendships and achieving academic success.

Emotional well-being stems from quality friendships and helping children see themselves as capable individuals.

We are committed to early intervention, knowing the potential to significantly alter the trajectory of a child's life, making it a worthwhile investment.

We advocate for our clients and are deeply rooted in neurodiversity affirming therapy and science-backed neuroplasticity. This means we work creatively to build skills in clients.
